  18. For a cup or so of sauce:

  20. 1 clove garlic 
  21. a piece of ginger about as big as the end of your little finger
  22. 1/3 c rice vinegar
  23. 2/3 c soy sauce
  24. a few dashes of lai yu (chili oil)
